Kode47 is a personal project created and maintained by Kudzai Nyandoro. This project is focused on providing short technical blogs and screencasts to new and intermediate developers, researchers and analysts. Inspired by Railscasts, Kudzai uses Kode47 to share any tips and tricks he learns with other analytical and technically minded people. Kudzai has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a Masters Degree in Public Health from California State University, Fresno. After graduating from college Kudzai landed a job at the Central Valley Health Policy Institute, at California State University, Fresno as a Research Assistant where gained skills in reasearch, data anaylysis and visualization with SPSS and ARC GIS. Kudzai has over ten years of experience in public health research, information technology and project management and he currently works full time as an Associate Director at the Central California Asthma Collaborative. He started his software development journey in 2013 and has learned his skills through books, online courses from schools and platforms such as Launch School, The Pragmatic Studios, CodeCademy, Treehouse , Upcase , Udemy and the Learn Enough Society. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, coding, running, cycling plus kayaking on class IV and V rivers such as the Zambezi, Burnt Ranch Gorge on the Trinity, Gore Canyon on the Colorado, the Merced, Kings and the American rivers. Kudzai is the receipient of several scholarships including the Provost Graduate Scholarhip from California State University, Fresno as well as scholarships from the Learn Enough Society and the Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship.
